Overcoming a blocked 4G signal

The problem:

Construction site cabins needed broadband quickly, however the site was shielded by large steel buildings that completely blocked the 4G signal and there was no coverage on any mobile network.

Traditional fiber would take months to install and the excess construction costs (ECC’s) would be prohibitive.

Our solution:

We mounted our equipment on another building, powered by 110v, and relayed the signal at some distance over 200 meters using our point to point WiFi system.

This site was able to run multiple phones over our 4G broadband connection and received excellent speeds for general internet use and VPN.
