Exchange repair

We offer a custom repair service for Microsoft Exchange Server’s database files, i.e priv.edb, priv1.edb, pub.edb etc. all for a fixed price of £49.

These database files are the most critical files that Microsoft Exchange Server relies on, they store all the data that we see in Outlook and via Outlook Web Access, items such as email messages (with and without attachments), tasks, calendars and contacts are all stored in the .edb and .stm files.

The .edb and .stm files can become corrupt or damaged and the Exchange Server may not start, this can happen if the server is switched off without shutting down properly (loss of power) for example, in this case you will normally need to restore from backup’s.

We can repair the edb files or export data to new .pst files if required allowing you to get your server back online quickly and without loss of data.

We support all versions of Microsoft Exchange including 2007 and Exchange 2010

How it works:

  1. Send us your corrupt file(s)
    • Upload it to our servers
    • Send it on a hard drive
  2. We repair your corrupt file(s)
    • Normally within 6 hours
  3. We send you back the repaired file(s)
    • You can download it
    • Via courier or Royal Mail

  • We will keep your data secure and safe whilst in our custody
  • We will forensically erase your data when you confirm you are happy
  • We will invoice you £49 + (courier or postage) + VAT
  • We ask you settle our invoice in 28 days (no up front costs)
  • We only provide our service to businesses in the UK
  • If we cannot repair your files then there is no charge, we even return your data at our cost
  • Our cost is low because we do data recovery and forensics daily
