Your data is encrypted and secured so that only you can access it; all transmissions of your data are also encrypted.
All data flows via our hardened servers through firewalls and secured switches before being accessed.
All servers are monitored and patched and secured in line with best practice.
Regular penetration testing is carried out.
- Point-to-point SSL between server and client
- Support for HTTPS proxy & socks
- Data is encrypted when stored
- Encryption algorithms: Twofish, Triple DES, AES
- Encryption modes: Electronic Cook Book (ECB) or Cipher Block Chaining (CBC)
- Access by pre-defined IP only if required
Physical security
Our datacentres are among the most secure in Europe, before anyone can access our equipment we have to go through the following levels of security:
- Request access via video entry system
- Show photo ID and have this checked on a pre-authorised list by security guards
- A swipe card is given to us that allows only access for our needs
- We swipe through internal doors until we arrive at the final data room
- Our ID is checked again via security guards
- We swipe into the data room
- We press our finger into the biometric reader that opens our caged area
- We can then see our racks, we access these via a secure coded lock
- CCTV monitors us at every step
