  • Will there be a long contract to tie me in?
    • Melbek have a one month contract
  • If I have trouble restoring data do they have the expertise to assist?
    • Melbek are a Microsoft Gold Certified Company and award winner and therefore have the expertise to help
  • Is my data stored only in the UK and covered by UK law?
    • Melbek only use UK datacentres
  • Will they come to my office and demonstrate the software?
    • Melbek are happy to visit your company within the UK
  • How long have they been providing technical services?

  • Do they resell another service providers service?
    • No – Melbek provide their own services so we remain in control
  • Do they use enterprise class hardware to store your data?
    • Melbek use Dell and HP enterprise equipment and have fully redundant data connections
  • Can they provide a dedicated phone line, broadband and backup service on one bill?
    • Melbek can provide these services directly (Melbek Telecom, a sister company, provide the phone line via BT Openreach) and you will receive one invoice

Backing up your data and trusting it to a third party is an important decision and we recommend you ask all the above questions before making a decision.  Cost is important with all businesses, but there is little point in saving a little and not being able to restore your data when you need it.
